Originally from San Francisco as a first-generation Filipino-American, Lara Bautista’s research interests are largely grounded in her own lived and learned experiences at the intersection of postcolonial thought, socioeconomic development and cultural heritage. Lara is now based in London, working in the nonprofit sector. She holds an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MA from the University of St Andrews.
